Abstracts (350 words) should include:
Do not include identifiable information regarding authors in the abstract submission.
The following information on all authors will be requested on the form:
Name, Degree(s), Job Title, Affiliation, Email, Telephone.
Best Poster Winner will receive - $150.00 certificate off the cost of the NATS National Convention 2024. Winner is strongly encouraged to submit their poster presentation for consideration to be included in the 2024 NATS National Convention.
All poster presenters must register for the conference. Free for SNATS members and graduate students, though registration is still required.
You will hear from us about poster acceptances by Monday, May 15th, 2023

PDF of Posters will be due by Thursday, May 25th, 2023.
The size requirement for posters is 48" tall x 36" wide. Note: this is a vertical poster orientation.
Posters should follow the design principles from Mike Morrison’s #betterposter Generation 1 and Generation 2.
Posters should be submitted with a QR code to a youtube link to a 2-minute, pre-recorded video presentation on the poster. This video will be broadcast on the live stream during the in-person poster presentation.

- Poster Title
- Introduction: An introductory statement that clearly identifies the specific concept to be highlighted and described. Provide a brief historical perspective and/or background of the topic to set the context for the research.
- Methods: Briefly describe the methods used to derive the research, including the approach to data collection or literature review, scholarly review, meta-analysis, or any other relevant methods.
- Literature/Observations: Provide a clear description of the literature, qualitative, or quantitative observations that support the poster concept, including references and resources to support these observations.
- Results/Conclusions: Clearly highlight the main findings from data collection and briefly summarize the conclusions and suggestions that can be drawn from the results.
- Usefulness/Application: Clearly state the usefulness or application of the research to NATS members.
- Limitations and Future Directions: Provide a statement of the limitations of the research, including any gaps or challenges that need to be addressed in future studies. Additionally, provide future directions for this research that could help expand the knowledge and understanding of the topic.
